Dr. Cristina Robinson specialized in equine medicine and is board certified. The only one here locally on the Western Slope.
Dr. Cristina Robinson joined Amigo Animal Clinic in the summer of 2011. She was born and raised in Italy. Cristina graduated from University of Padova in 1998 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine; she completed internships at Cambridge University, UK, and Chino Valley Equine Hospital in California. In 2007 she completed a residency in equine internal medicine and a Masters degree at Ohio State University, and attained ACVIM accreditation.
Before moving to the western slope Dr. Robinson lived in Maine for four years where she returned to working in a mixed animal practice and became very enthusiastic about sled dog racing. This year she moved with her husband Shawn, their two children, a dog and two cats to the western slope. Her professional interests include neurology, thoracic and abdominal medicine, surgery, ultrasonography and endoscopy. On her free time she enjoys hiking with her family, skiing and ice skating. She also likes spending her free time with her cat Sugar Ray.
