Pete Jouflas was born and raised in Grand Junction, CO and graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1974. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from Colorado State University in 1978 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. He is married to Kristy and they have two children, Karlie and Alex.
Dr. Jouflas has been in practice at Amigo Animal Clinic since 1982 and has enjoyed living and working in western Colorado. He is very active in the community as a member of Kiwanis, serving on the JUCO Baseball Committee, a trustee on the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation Board, part of the McInnis Canyons Advisory Council, a member of the Fruita Monument High School Ag Advisory Council and a board member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Parish Council. He enjoys the outdoors especially farming and playing golf.
